From deep within the heart of Cree territory in Saskatchewan comes Ironswing a contemporary First Nations drum group. From Sturgeon Lake First Nation, Ironswing formed over 18 years ago under the guidance of elders and family members.
Ironswing travelled throughout North America entertaining Pow-Wow crowds providing for dancers a young powerful heart of the traditional sound. Ironswing Singers are champion singers and have entertained their home of Saskatchewan and Sturgeon Lake at traditional and ceremonial gatherings .
The singers of Ironswing are committed to culture, traditions and have a firm First Nation spiritual belief. The singers are available to offer their knowledge as young professionals of First Nation culture and lifestyle and are active in public speaking at youth gatherings, educational institutes and cultural gatherings. Sharing the traditional knowledge of the drum is Ironswing.

Ironswing is available to provide In Class or Assembly Instruction to Students and First Nation Assemblies:
Ironswing is comprised of:
Teachers
Social Workers
Elected Officials
Experienced Lecturers
Young Professionals.
Curriculum will be developed by our Education Professionals to Provide a Framework of In Class Instruction. Provide a (3) half hour instruction modules. Curriculum will be delivered to Education Institutions prior to lecture and instructions.
